# Velociraptor AI (VAI)

> Applied AI studio founded by Mitch Williams. We build agents that handle the repetitive, complicated work, then the AI system your team can actually use, and train everyone to use it. In hours rather than months. Based in South Africa; works with teams in South Africa, the UK and the US.

## What we do
- **Agents in production**: marketing, invoicing, compliance, inbox and support, reporting, research, data entry. Each agent has one job, a named owner and an audit log. They run on your computers (desktop agents that drive existing apps) and in the cloud.
- **Software factory**: staff prompt an idea and get a secure internal app in under 20 minutes, built from approved templates, tested, scanned and deployed on the company’s own cloud behind VPN and sign-in, with one-tap approval.
- **Guardrails**: SSO, roles, human approvals, audit trails, PII redaction, prompt-injection defence, evals, private/open-source models when data can't leave the building.
- **Training (VAI Academy)**: live sessions, prompt packs (Claude Code /skills and @file syntax), slide decks, playbooks and videos for every role.
- **Flagship week**: every engagement starts with one product the whole company can use by Friday.

## Models
Claude is the default for agents, coding and long documents (Claude Code + MCP). ChatGPT where teams already work. Open-source (Llama, DeepSeek, Qwen) on private hardware for sensitive data.
